Demonstration Pilots
The First Team to get under
way...Could You Be Next..?
JD and Tim's aircraft will be the Top Flite Gold Edition
P-51 B version Mustangs. Painted as you see in the above banner. Featured
functions of the planes will be, Throttle (of course), Retract Gears, Gear Doors, Wing
Flaps, Wing Bomb Release, and very possibly remote self start engines. The team will
incorporate into the Black Sheep Aerobatics Show Team and perform at the same air shows as
the teams' full size planes. Exhibitions will be held with the show team
Demonstration Mustangs, and the pilots will also be teaching juniors and guests on
full body NOBLER aircraft,
with OS .40 engines. The trainers will also feature throttle, gear and flaps.

The Search is on, for C/L
pilots, to fly TopFlite, or similar, Warbirds in Demonstrations, at
local area Air Shows and to Compete in Local, Regional and National Championships as
individual contestants...!
The purpose of the Demo Pilot Program is to
demonstrate the ScaleMaster Model Aircraft Control Line Operating System and to promote
Model Aviation.
![]() All of these planes (from TopFlite, Sig and Great Planes) are excellent examples of Scale Subjects, that can take advantage of the ScaleMaster's functions. |
Keep in mind that there are 6 options
that can be added to flight plan, for contests, and with the Scalemaster,
"Medallist" you could fill each one of them, without piggy-backing any of the
controls. Add the points for that to the mandatory requirements, documentation, and
scale finish..and you could have a real winner....!!!! |
The Pilots would also do demonstrations at air shows or Local Flying Fields to promote the Hobby/Sport of Model Aviation as well as the capabilities of the ScaleMaster Operating System, in non-competitive events. |
REQUIREMENTS
Each pilot will build and fly his own
plane. The pilot will purchases the ScaleMaster System and use it for the full year of
flying Shows, Demonstrations and Contests. Planes must be Top Flite or
Similar Scale or Stand-Off Scale Warbirds and/or Aircraft that have enough
movable functions to demonstrate the capabilities of the ScaleMaster.
At the end of a certified year of flying, the ScaleMaster
Unit Price will be refunded to the pilot and the pilot keeps the
ScaleMaster System.
The one year participation time limit is from the Month Started to matching Month Ending
the following year. The pilot is required to fly a minimum of 12 contests, or, a
combination of 6 contests and 6 demos, during the year or any other combination of events
that total 12 appearances. A form for documentation will be used to show the
pilots participation.
Any
Compensation made to the pilot at an Air Show or Live Demonstration, for entertainment
purposes, would belong to the Pilot, with no demand of share be made by Scalemaster.
All Press releases for Contests, Air Shows or Magazine Articles, must contain the full
name of the Scalemaster organization and a copy of the "Published" material must
be sent to ScaleMaster.
To qualify
you must be an AMA current member and only participate in AMA sanctioned
"contest" events. Events should be Stand-Off Scale, Scale, FAI Scale
or Navy Carrier competitions.
Non-sanctioned events will not be counted.

a member in good standing of that organization.
Why not

And get a Free ScaleMaster in the process!!
